Janet and Serene deserve commendation for distilling the essence from their numerous interviews and making it easy for the reader to understand, adopt and apply in their quest to become a successful leader. About the Authors
Author of the Being Happy and Successful series of books, Janet Yung is the founder and principal consultant of 8Treasures and Trilogy People Performance Consultancy. With almost three decades of corporate and business experience, Janet was the Director of Sales & Marketing in a Fortune 50 company before embarking in her retail, training and consultancy business. In this book, Janet together with her co-author attempts to provide insights on what makes a successful leader by getting the perspectives of over a hundred leaders across diverse cultures, industries and levels in Asia. She hopes that the real-life examples and success stories will inspire, motivate and enrich her readers and clients.
Serene Ong’s professional field is accountancy. Previously, she was a Director and the Chief Financial Officer of a listed company in Singapore. In her corporate career of more than 25 years, Serene has accumulated good operational and business experience as well as extensive working knowledge in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, Pakistan, The Philippines, India and the US. Equipped with the objective to re-energise herself through learning, Serene recently moved out of her comfort zone to commence her journey in providing business and operational consultancy services.
